  • The pilgrimage starts with a flight from Los Angeles to Guadalajara, Mexico. For the next couple of days, we will embark on a spiritual journey to experience the well known pilgrimage sites and culture of Mexico. After landing, we will be greeted by our tour guide and driver who will transfer and check us in comfortably in Guadalajara.

  • After a good nights sleep, we will have breakfast to start our morning followed by a walking tour of the Guadalajara city center with cultural and historical explanations of places such as the Cathedral, Hospicio de las Cabanas, Degollado Theatre, and the murals of Government palace. After, we will visit the city of Zapopan where we will celebrate Mass at the Basilica. We will end the day with a visit to Tlaquepaque, a city known for Mexican Handicrafts and folk art made by the locals. Transfer back to our hotel in Guadalajara for dinner and overnight stay.

  • In the morning, we say goodbye to Guadalajara and depart to Guanajuato. Upon arrival we will have a city tour - a visit to Pipila for a panoramic view of the city and have Mass. After, we will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Check-in at the hotel in Guanajuato with overnight stay.

  • Today we make our way towards the colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, where you'll enjoy a guided city tour showcasing its stunning architecture, vibrant arts scene, and historic sites such as the Church of St. Michael the Archangel. Afterward, we’ll hop on the bus to visit Querétaro, renowned for its well-preserved colonial center and beautiful aqueduct. Take a leisurely stroll through its picturesque streets, immersing yourself in the local culture and history. As the sun begins to set, we’ll continue our journey to Mexico City, where you’ll check in at your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

  • We start the day with the chance to float in the calm river of Xochimilco using brightly colored boats that transport passengers through the canals called trajineras. Xochimilco is also named the "Venice of Mexico City." After, we make our way towards downtown Mexico City’s Zocalo which includes the government buildings, a large central square, and the Cathedral. After, we visit the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine where Juan Diego received the message to build a church for our Mother on top of Tepayac Hill. We will get the chance to explore the grounds of this place as well as time for personal reflection and prayer. At the end of the day a transfer back to our hotel in Mexico City for dinner and overnight stay.

  • We start the day with a visit to Ocotlán where the famous sanctuary of Our Lady of Ocotlán is known for a water well with healing water. We will explore Puebla – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – its streets lined with churches and colonial mansions, many adorned with the beautiful hand-painted Talavera tiles for which the city is famous. This is also the place where Mexico’s national dish – the ‘mole poblano’ – originated. We will visit the Templo De Santo Domingo, the impressive Puebla Cathedral, and the surrounding historic center; Casa del Alfeñique – its delicate white ornamental plasterwork resembles alfeñique, a sugar and almond paste; Mercado El Parian – a crafts market in the ‘artist’s quarter’; and Calle 6 Oriente – known for its typical candy shops. Back to hotel in Mexico City for dinner and overnight stay.

  • We continue our journey to the ancient mining town of Taxco, characterized by its cobbled and winding lanes, traditional plazas and antique houses with elegant colonial facades. The small city of Taxco, sitting just north of the State of Guerrero, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Mexico. It is also known as the Silver Capital state of Mexico. We will visit Santa Prisca church famous for it’s baroque altar pieces, where we will have our Mass. Some free time on your own before we drive back to Mexico City for dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

  • On the final morning of our pilgrimage, we will celebrate mass at the Holy Family Church of Blessed Miguel Pro. After mass, we will make our way towards Teotihuacan, one of the best preserved cities in Mexico. The holy city of Teotihuacan translates to ‘the place where the gods were created’. Built between the 1st and 7th centuries A.D., it is characterized by the vast size of its monuments – in particular, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, laid out on geometric and symbolic principles. After the visit, we will de dropped off, at agreed time, at the airport to catch our flights back home to Los Angeles, CA.
