  • The pilgrimage starts with a flight from Norfolk, Virginia to Guadalajara, Mexico. For the next couple of days, we will embark on a spiritual journey to experience the well known pilgrimage sites and culture of Mexico. After landing, we will be greeted by our tour guide and driver who will transfer and check us in comfortably in Guadalajara.

  • After a good nights sleep, we will have breakfast to start our morning followed by a walking tour of the Guadalajara city center with cultural and historical explanations of places such as the Cathedral, Hospicio de las Cabanas, Degollado Theatre, and the murals of Government palace. After, we will visit the city of Zapopan where we will celebrate Mass at the Basilica. We will end the day with a visit to Tlaquepaque, a city known for Mexican Handicrafts and folk art made by the locals. Transfer back to our hotel in Guadalajara for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Our journey begins in Guadalajara, where we depart in the morning to visit the Sanctuary of Santo Toribio Romo, a revered site for pilgrims honoring the patron saint of migrants. Afterward, we continue to the Basilica of San Juan de los Lagos, one of the most important religious sites in Mexico, renowned for its miraculous image of the Virgin Mary. Following our time in San Juan de los Lagos, we proceed to Guanajuato, a city rich in history and culture. Upon arrival, we will check into our accommodations, enjoy a delightful dinner featuring local cuisine, and rest overnight to prepare for the adventures ahead.

  • Departing from Guanajuato, we will make our way to the majestic Cristo Rey Monument on Cerro del Cubilete, a significant pilgrimage site and a symbol of faith in Mexico. After taking in the breathtaking views and experiencing this iconic landmark, we will proceed to the enchanting town of San Miguel de Allende. Upon arrival, we will embark on a captivating walking tour of the city's historic streets, exploring its vibrant plazas, colonial architecture, and artistic ambiance. Following the tour, we will check in at our hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and stay overnight to relax and savor the charm of this magical town.

  • Leaving San Miguel de Allende, we will journey to the revered Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world. Upon arrival, we will have ample time to explore the sacred grounds, admire the stunning basilica, and learn about the rich history and significance of this holy place. There will also be time for personal reflections and prayers, allowing for a moment of spiritual connection. Additionally, you can browse the shops for meaningful souvenirs and religious items. After our visit, we will check in at our hotel in Mexico City, where we will settle in and relax for the evening.

  • Departing from Mexico City, we will head to the charming city of Cuernavaca, often referred to as the "City of Eternal Spring." Here, we will visit the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary, a historic and spiritual landmark featuring stunning frescoes and a serene atmosphere for reflection. Following our visit, we will continue to the picturesque mining town of Taxco, renowned for its colonial architecture, winding cobblestone streets, and exquisite silverwork. While in Taxco, we will visit the stunning Santa Prisca Church, a magnificent example of Baroque architecture adorned with intricate details and a rich history dating back to the 18th century. After taking in the town's unique charm and exploring its local treasures, we will return to our hotel in Mexico City for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

  • On our concluding pilgrimage day in Mexico City, we will visit the site dedicated to Blessed Miguel Pro, a beloved martyr of the faith, where we will come together for a Mass to honor his legacy and reflect on our journey. After this meaningful and spiritual experience, we will gather as a group for a transfer to the airport, carrying with us cherished memories and renewed faith as we prepare to catch our flights back home.
