For the next couple of days, we will embark on a spiritual journey to experience the well known pilgrimage sites and culture of Mexico. After landing, we will be greeted by our tour guide and driver who will transfer and check us in comfortably in Mexico City.

  • Begin your day at Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco, where Aztec ruins, a colonial church, and modern buildings reflect Mexico’s layered history. Explore the remnants of the ancient marketplace and the Church of Santiago de Tlatelolco, a 16th-century Franciscan church built on an old Aztec temple site. Next, visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the world’s most important pilgrimage sites. See the New Basilica, which houses the miraculous image of Our Lady, and explore the surrounding chapels, gardens, and Tepeyac Hill, where St. Juan Diego’s vision took place. Back to our hotel in Mexico City for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Today we begin our journey to Tlaxcala, a city rich in history and colonial charm. Visit the San Miguel del Milagro Shrine, the sacred site where St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Diego Lázaro in 1631, revealing a miraculous spring with healing waters. We continue to Ocotlán, home to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Ocotlán, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared in 1541, leaving behind a miraculous image. Explore the beautiful church and its peaceful surroundings before heading to Puebla, a city known for its stunning colonial architecture and vibrant culture. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodations and enjoy an evening at leisure, soaking in the charm of Puebla before resting for the night.

  • We will explore Puebla – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – its streets lined with churches and colonial mansions, many adorned with the beautiful hand-painted Talavera tiles for which the city is famous. This is also the place where Mexico’s national dish – the ‘mole poblano’ – originated. We will visit the Templo De Santo Domingo, the impressive Puebla Cathedral, and the surrounding historic center; Casa del Alfeñique – its delicate white ornamental plasterwork resembles alfeñique, a sugar and almond paste; Mercado El Parian – a crafts market in the ‘artist’s quarter’; and Calle 6 Oriente – known for its typical candy shops. In the afternoon, we head back to Mexico City where we check in, have dinner and stay overnight.

  • In the morning, we will join the Mass with Archbishop José Gomez at the Cathedral scheduled for 10 AM. After, we will make visit to Santa María Tulpetlac, the site of the fifth apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe ,where she appeared to Juan Diego’s uncle, Juan Bernardino, and miraculously healed him. Spend time in the church built on this sacred site, reflecting on the significance of this final apparition. Next, journey to the awe-inspiring Teotihuacán Pyramids, one of Mexico’s most iconic archaeological sites. After, we return to Mexico City for dinner and stay overnight.

  • Enjoy a relaxed morning, taking time to prepare for a meaningful day ahead. Late in the morning, arrive at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe to attend a special noon Mass with Archbishop José Gomez, joining in prayer at this sacred pilgrimage site.
