Sorrento, Italy, is a charming coastal town perched on cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples. Known for its stunning views of Mount Vesuvius and Capri, Sorrento is celebrated for its lemon groves, producing the famous limoncello liqueur. Its historic streets are lined with boutique shops, vibrant cafés, and traditional trattorias.

San Giovanni Rotondo
San Giovanni Rotondo, a small town in southern Italy's Apulia region, is best known for its connection to Saint Padre Pio. This serene town, nestled in the Gargano Mountains, draws thousands of pilgrims each year to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where Padre Pio served and is buried.

Arrive in Rome and greeted by the tour manager and bus driver. Transfer to Assisi where we will check in and stay overnight for the next few days.

We'll start the day with a visit to the Basilica of St. Francis to celebrate Mass at his tomb. Following Mass, a guided tour will take us through the two-level Basilica, with its 13th and 14th- century stained glass and frescoes by Giotto depicting the life of St. Francis. Next, we’ll visit the Basilica of St. Clare, where we’ll see her remains and the miraculous Crucifix. After an independent lunch and some free time, we’ll visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis, known as the "cyber apostle of the Eucharist," to reflect on his life and legacy. Then, we’ll proceed to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which houses the Porziuncola Chapel and the spot where St. Francis passed away. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we will embark on a four-hour drive south to Montecassino, where we will visit the historic Abbey. Here, we will have the opportunity to celebrate Mass in the chapel that holds the tombs of Saint Benedict and his sister, Saint Scholastica. Our guided tour will also include a visit to the abbey’s museum. Following this, we will continue our journey to Sorrento, where we will stay for the next two nights. Upon arrival, enjoy some leisure time exploring Limonoro, Sorrento’s charming main pedestrian street, lined with shops. This area is an ideal spot to savor limoncello (a lemon aperitif) or other unique liqueurs, such as those infused with fennel, almond milk, or chocolate. Dinner and overnight in Sorrento.

We start the day by boarding a minibus (20 seats each) we will drive along the scenic Amalfi Coast to reach Amalfi. Enjoy the sites of one of Europes most magnificent coastlines brimming with hilltop towns, terraced hills, and blue seas. This coast is known as the Citrus Coast due to the abundance of Lemon and Orange trees. In Amalfi, see the Piazza del Duomo, where we explore the Cathedral of St. Andrew to see the relics of the saint and the Crypt, where he is buried. Celebrate Mass and enjoy time at leisure by a short boat ride, we reach the next village: Maiori and by bus back to Sorrento. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.

After a good breakfast, we check out and drive 1.5 hrs to reach Pompeii. We will celebrate Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary ‘s Shrine followed by a break for lunch. Continue to San Giovanni Rotondo (4 hr drive) Check in at our hotel. Dinner and overnight.

This morning is dedicated to Saint Padre Pio. We honor his work as we visit his tomb, his cell, his confessional and the Capuchin Monastery of Our Lady of Grace. We will also visit the new Church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie, and the Home for the Relief of the Suffering. In the afternoon, we visit the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel. After, we head back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in San Giovanni Rotondo.

Today we check out and drive to Lanciano and celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Francis. This Church is the site of the Eucharistic Miracle that occurred in the eighth century. After break for lunch, we continue to reach Rome and check in with dinner and overnight stay.

We start the Jubilee at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the walls to walk through the first Holy Door of our Jubilee Year Pilgrimage. Originally founded by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century, the Basilica is where the great Apostle Paul is buried Continue to the city center, and reach the Basilica of St. John in Lateran and we walk through the second Holy Door of our trip. This Basilica is the seat of the bishop of Rome, who of course, is also the Pope. The Basilica houses magnificent artwork and also wood from the table used at the Last Supper. It is high above the altar above the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, to the left of the main Papal altar. From here we will walk to the Shrine of the Holy Stairs , so named because they are the steps which led to the praetorium of the Roman Procurator Ponzio Pilato. Break for lunch. Our afternoon walking tour, includes the most beautiful monuments of the Baroque Rome area, we will see the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, (outside) Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva and Navona Square. Some time at leisure for shopping before we regain our bus and return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

This morning, we drive along the historic Appian Way to visit the Catacombs and the Basilica of St. Sebastian, where we will celebrate Mass. We will also visit the Church of Domine Quo Vadis, where, according to tradition, Peter met Jesus while fleeing martyrdom. Jesus' words, “I am coming to Rome to be crucified again,” inspired Peter to return and face his fate. Inside the church, a stone with Jesus' footprints is displayed (a copy; the original is in the Basilica of St. Sebastian). After returning to Rome for lunch, we embark on a walking tour of Imperial Rome. Highlights include an outside view of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum (once the religious, political, and commercial heart of ancient Rome), and the Arches of Constantine and Titus. We will visit the Church of St. Francesca Romana, located near the Roman Forum. Tradition holds that Simon Magus died here, and a stone still bears the marks of Peter's knees as he prayed for divine help. We then board our bus to visit the Basilica of St. Mary Major, passing through the third Holy Door of our pilgrimage. We will explore this historic and significant shrine. Last, we will enjoy the rest of our time near the Spanish steps before going back to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Rome.

This morning begins with an early wake-up call as we head to Vatican City to attend the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square with Pope Francis. Following the audience, we will celebrate Mass at a church near the Vatican and then break for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Vatican Museum to admire world-famous masterpieces, including the Sistine Chapel. Next, we tour St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in Christendom, built on the site of St. Peter’s martyrdom. Here, we pass through the Fourth Holy Door of our pilgrimage, view Michelangelo's Pietà, and pray at the tombs of St. Peter and Pope St. John Paul II. We then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
