Jesus says, “I am the door.” Holy Doors are opened during Jubilee years, through which pilgrims pass to obtain an indulgence. Jubilee years are a special time of mercy and mark milestones in the history of the Church.

Assisi
St. Francis of Assisi (1181/82–1226) was an Italian Catholic friar, preacher, and founder of the Franciscan Order. Born in Assisi, he renounced his wealthy upbringing to live a life of poverty, humility, and service to others. He is known for his deep love of nature and animals, as well as his devotion to peace and compassion. His legacy includes the Canticle of the Sun and his influence on Christian mysticism. Assisi remains a pilgrimage site, with the Basilica of St. Francis housing his tomb.

Turin, Italy, is a historic city in the Piedmont region, known for its baroque architecture, rich cultural heritage, and culinary delights. It is home to the legacy of St. John Bosco, a 19th-century priest and educator who dedicated his life to helping disadvantaged youth.

Upon arrival in Milan, we will meet our English-speaking tour manager and board our motor coach for the drive to Turin. Once we arrive, we will visit the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, the final resting place of St. John Bosco and St. Dominic Savio, where we will celebrate Mass. Afterward, we will check in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will explore the Salesian Way, visiting key sites linked to St. John Bosco’s life and ministry, including the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales. We will celebrate Mass, then visit the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which houses the Holy Shroud and the tomb of the soon-to-be saint, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. The remainder of the day will be at leisure. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

This morning, we will depart from Turin early and travel to Bologna (approximately a 5-hour drive). Upon arrival, enjoy free time for lunch in the city center. In the afternoon, we will visit the Basilica of San Domenico, where the remains of St. Dominic are enshrined, and celebrate Mass. Afterward, we will continue to Florence for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will embark on a walking tour of Florence, visiting the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore and admiring Brunelleschi’s magnificent dome. We will also see Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Baptistery Doors, famously known as the Gates of Paradise. Our tour continues to Signoria Square, often referred to as an "open-air museum. " Enjoy some free time for shopping at Ponte Vecchio. Today’s Mass will be celebrated at a local church. In the afternoon, we will travel to Assisi. Upon. arrival, we will check in at the hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, we will explore Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. Our first stop is the Basilica of St. Clare, where we will see her tomb and the Cross of San Damiano, which spoke to St. Francis. Strolling through the medieval streets, we will visit the Sanctario della Spogliazione, home to the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the first millenial to be declared Blessed, known for his deep devotion to the Eucharist. Next, we will visit the Basilica of St. Francis, where we will explore both the upper and lower churches and pray at his tomb. Here we will celebrate Mass. In the. afternoon, we will visit the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels to see the Porziuncola, the tiny church where St. Francis founded the Franciscan Order. Afterward, we will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Today, we will continue our journey to Loreto (approximately a 3-hour drive) to visit the Basilica of the Holy House. According to tradition and popular devotion, the House of Nazareth was miraculously transported to Loreto by angels. After a break for lunch, we will proceed to Lanciano. Upon arrival, we will visit the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle, where we will celebrate Mass. Later, we will check in at the hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, we will drive to Monte Sant’Angelo (approximately a 2-hour drive). Upon arrival, we will visit the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel, where we will celebrate Mass. After lunch, we will continue to San Giovanni Rotondo. Upon arrival, we will check in at the hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay

This morning, we will dedicate our time to Saint Padre Pio, honoring his life and legacy. We will visit his tomb, cell, and confessional, as well as the Capuchin Monastery of Our Lady of Grace, where we will celebrate Mass. We will also visit the new Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The rest of the day will be at leisure for personal prayer and religious activities. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, we will travel to Rome (approximately a 6-hour drive). Upon arrival, we will visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, where we will enter the first Holy Door of our Jubilee and celebrate Mass. Afterward, we will check in at the hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay

After breakfast, we will visit the other major Basilicas of Rome to enter the Holy Doors at St Mary Major and at St John Lateran. We will see also the Holy stairs. In the afternoon we will enjoy a walking tour passing by Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva and Piazza Navona. Today the mass will be celebrated in a local church. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Today we will start celebrating our Sunday morning Mass. Then we will reach San Peter's Square for the 12:00 pm Papal Blessing. After lunch, we will reach Castel St. Angelo from where we will start the Holy Procession to reach the Basilica and enter through the Holy Door. Time at leisure to see the basilica on our own. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
