    The Amalfi Coast, located in southern Italy's Campania region, is renowned for its stunning coastal scenery, picturesque towns, and rich cultural heritage.

  • Board flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Rome Fiumicino Airport.

  • Arrive in Rome and greeted by the tour manager and bus driver. Transfer to Rome where we will check in and stay overnight for the next few days.

  • Today we visit Vatican City to attend the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square with Pope Francis - Mass will be celebrated at a church in the Vatican area. Continue to the Vatican Museum where we see world-famous masterpieces including the incredible Sistine Chapel. Next we reach St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Christendom Church at the Basilica we walk through the first Holy Door of our trip. We enjoy a guided tour of the Basilica built on the site where St. Peter, the first Pope and Bishop of Rome, was martyred. It is here that we view Michelangelo's Pieta and pray at the tombs of St. Peter and Pope St. John Paul II. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Begin your adventure at St. Paul Outside the Walls, one of the city's four major basilicas, renowned for its stunning mosaics and tranquil cloisters. Next, visit St. Mary Major, a magnificent basilica with exquisite artwork and a rich history that dates back to the 5th century. Capture the essence of ancient Rome with a photo stop at the iconic Colosseum, an enduring symbol of the Roman Empire's grandeur. Continue your exploration at the enchanting Trevi Fountain, where you can toss a coin to ensure your return to the Eternal City. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Spanish Steps, a picturesque spot perfect for relaxing and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Rome.

  • We will reach the Basilica of St. John in Lateran and we walk through the fourth Holy Door of our trip. Celebrate Mass. This Basilica is the seat of the bishop of Rome, who of course, is also the Pope. The Basilica houses magnificent artwork and also wood from the table used at the Last Supper. It is high above the altar above the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, to the left of the main Papal altar. From here we will walk to the Shrine of the Holy Stairs , so named because they are the steps which led to the praetorium of the Roman Procurator Ponzio Pilato. Continue to Assisi. Check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

  • Today, we celebrate Mass at the Tomb of St. Francis before exploring the Basilica of St. Francis with our guide. This complex includes two churches, one atop the other, with a crypt housing St. Francis’ tomb. The lower Basilica (1228–1230) features stunning stained glass and 13th–14th century paintings, while the upper Basilica (1230–1253) showcases Giotto’s frescoes of the saint’s life. Next, we visit the Basilica of St. Clare to see her remains and the miraculous Crucifix, followed by the Santuario Dell’Espoliazione, where Carlo Acutis is buried. After lunch, we journey through Umbria to Cascia, home of St. Rita, the "Saint of the Impossible." We visit her Basilica, venerate her remains, and reflect in the rose garden. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Assisi.

  • In the morning we visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Degli Angeli. Crowned by the magnificent dome designed by Alessi, this great Basilica was built in 1569. It enclosed the shrine of the "Porziuncola" or the Little Portion Chapel around which the first Franciscan community was centered, the place where Clare received the habit from Francis, and the Capella Del Transito, which marks the spot where the Saint died. We continue to Lanciano and visit the Church of St. Francis. This Church is the site of the Eucharistic Miracle that occurred in the eighth century. After, we continue our journey to reach San Giovanni Rotondo. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  • This morning is dedicated to Saint Padre Pio. We honor his work as we visit his tomb, his cell, his confessional and the Capuchin Monastery of Our Lady of Grace. We will also visit the new Church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie, and the Home for the Relief of the Suffering. In the afternoon, we visit the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel. Overnight in San Giovanni.

  • Today we check out and drive to reach Pompeii. We will celebrate Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary‘s Shrine. Following the Mass, continue our journey to Salerno, where you will check into your accommodation. The scenic drive offers a glimpse of the stunning Italian countryside, setting the tone for the rest of your stay.

  • We start the day by boarding a minibus (20 seats each) we will drive along the scenic Amalfi Coast to reach Amalfi, or by boat (weather permitting). Enjoy the sites of one of Europe’s most magnificent coastlines brimming with hilltop towns, terraced hills, and blue seas. This coast is known as the Citrus Coast due to the abundance of Lemon and Orange trees. In Amalfi, see the Piazza del Duomo, where we explore the Cathedral of St. Andrew to see the relics of the saint and the Crypt, where he is buried. Celebrate Mass and enjoy time at leisure. By a short boat ride, we reach the next village: Maiori then back to Salerno. Dinner at the hotel.

  • Today we drive towards Montecassino where we stop to visit the Abbey. We can celebrate Mass at the chapel where Saint Benedict and his sister St. Scholastica are buried. Our guided tour includes also the abbey’s museum. After lunch we continue our journey to Frascati, on the hills around Rome, where we will spend our last night. Enjoy a farewell dinner at our hotel.

  • At agreed time, a transfer to the airport to catch our flights back home.
